How much do Universal Orlando tickets cost in 2026?

Universal Orlando uses date-based pricing, so the price depends on the exact days you visit. A single-day base ticket to one park starts at roughly $119 per adult on lower-demand dates, while park-to-park tickets start around $174 per day. Multi-day tickets of three days or more bring the per-day cost down significantly, sometimes into the $65 to $118 per day range. Peak dates around holidays, spring break, and summer cost more. What is the difference between a base ticket and a park-to-park ticket?

A base ticket admits you to one Universal Orlando theme park per day. A park-to-park ticket lets you move between Universal Studios Florida and Islands of Adventure on the same day. Park-to-park admission is required to ride the Hogwarts Express between Hogsmeade and Diagon Alley. Epic Universe always requires its own admission and is not included in standard two-park tickets.

Are Universal tickets refundable?

Generally no. Per Universal's terms and conditions, theme park tickets are non-refundable and non-transferable once purchased. This is one of the main reasons to book through an advisor: if your plans change, we help you apply the value of unused tickets toward new dates where possible, and we recommend travel protection for vacation packages so a cancelled trip does not mean lost money.

Does Universal offer Florida resident discounts?

Yes. Universal Orlando offers special ticket and annual pass pricing for Florida residents. Each adult must present valid proof of Florida residency, such as a Florida driver's license or state ID, to activate and use the tickets. Offers change throughout the year, so we check current resident promotions when pricing your trip.

Should I buy tickets in advance or at the gate?

Buy in advance. Universal's online pricing is frequently lower than gate pricing, advance purchase lets you use Print@Home or mobile tickets and head straight to the entrance, and date-based pricing means popular days can sell at higher rates the longer you wait. Express Pass

How much does Universal Express Pass cost in 2026?

Express Pass is date-based and typically runs roughly $90 to $210 or more per person, per day at Universal Orlando, with Express Unlimited at the higher end. Peak Saturdays in summer and holiday weeks sit at the top of that range. Express Pass for Epic Universe is priced separately. Because prices swing so widely by date, shifting your trip by even a few days can meaningfully change the cost.

What is the difference between Express Pass and Express Unlimited?

Standard Express Pass lets you skip the regular line once per participating ride. Express Unlimited lets you skip the regular line as many times as you want on participating rides. For families visiting during busy periods who want to re-ride favorites, Unlimited is usually the better value. For lighter crowd days, standard Express is often enough.

Which Universal hotels include free Express Pass?

Universal Orlando's three Premier hotels, Loews Portofino Bay Hotel, Hard Rock Hotel, and Loews Royal Pacific Resort, include complimentary Unlimited Express Pass for every registered guest in the room, valid for both arrival and departure days. For a family of four during a busy season, the included Express Passes can be worth more than the difference in room rate, which is why Premier hotels are often the smartest value on property.

Is Express Pass worth it?

It depends on your dates. On peak days, headline rides can post waits of 90 minutes or more, and Express Pass can realistically double or triple what your family experiences in a day. On quiet weekdays in late January or September, standby waits are often short enough that Express adds little. How much is parking at Universal Orlando?

Regular self-parking at the Universal Orlando garages and the Epic Universe surface lot runs around $32 per day, with preferred and valet options priced higher. You can save a few dollars by pre-paying for regular self-parking online before your arrival date. Universal Orlando hotel guests park at their own hotel instead, and day guests visiting only CityWalk in the evening have historically had free self-parking windows after a certain hour, though these policies change, so confirm before your visit.

What perks do Universal on-site hotel guests get?

All Universal Orlando on-site hotel guests receive Early Park Admission to select parks up to one hour before the general public with valid admission, complimentary transportation to the parks and CityWalk, resort-wide charging privileges, and package delivery to their hotel. Premier hotel guests additionally receive complimentary Unlimited Express Pass. On-site hotels range from value-tier options like Universal's Endless Summer Resort to Premier properties, so there is an on-site price point for most budgets.

Is it better to stay on-site or off-site at Universal?

For most families, on-site wins once you factor in Early Park Admission and, at Premier hotels, the included Express Passes. Universal Orlando has a severe weather policy that allows guests who booked directly through Universal to cancel or reschedule certain vacation packages, hotel stays, and tickets when a hurricane or tropical storm warning is issued for the Orlando area or the guest's home area within a set window before arrival. Can I bring food and drinks into Universal parks?

Universal allows guests to bring bottled water, small snacks, and food required for medical or dietary purposes, including baby food and formula. Full meals, glass containers, and alcohol are not permitted. Dining plans and refillable cups are available for purchase inside the parks.

How many days do we need at Universal Orlando?
